Minister Jeffery Mathews, founder of The Book Of Mathews Ministries in Montgomery, Al. is a retired Army Chief Warrant Officer after spending 29 years in the military. Minister Mathews received the Bronze Star Medal while deployed in Iraq from March 2004-March 2005 for exceptional service in battle as a property book officer. While in Baghdad Iraq, he was selected as Senior Minister/Pastor of the gospel service, a non-denominational service for all service members and civilians. I witnessed an amazing time of praise and worship in a battle with some of God’s greatest men and women in uniform. Minister Mathews is also a musician as he played for the church choir for 7 years prior to accepting the call in the ministry. A graduate of Troy university with a Bachelor of Science degree in resource management. Attended Alabama State University, and Birmingham Theological Seminary College.
 

Born in Montgomery, Al. to my mother whose name was Mary and my father whose name was Joseph or Joe. Raised from my mother’s womb on the 3rd day touches my life in a special way. The 3rd day of June, I was born into a heavenly connection through my parents. In my book Marriage Cardiology 101 released October 2019, the anointing upon my life allowed me to speak directly to family and to the church before the pandemic would arrive. Through my wife’s heart attack in 2018, God would allow me to stay at home from the church for months caring for my wife while writing the book. This would be done through us by God prior to what would come to the church in 2020. Heaven began to download into my spirit revealed knowledge regarding what is called marriage cardiac arrest.
 

I am blessed by God to have been married to the love of my life for 40 years. Released my first book in 2010 entitled Faith That Dominated Baghdad.
